Hotels by Universal Studios, Orlando?
I was wondering if anyone knew any hotels/motels within walking distance to Universal Studios in Orlando? I have to stay for two nights, but plan on being in the parks the whole time. I will not have a car, so the only important thing is that i would be able to walk to and from the park in the morning and night! I dont mind how nice the hotel is or anything, more on the location 
The one i have been looking at is the "Days Inn Orlando Universal Maingate" but because i have not been down there i want to see if there are better places!

Royal Pacific, Hard Rock, and Portofino are all within walking distance. They are also on-site of Universal Studios. There is also a water taxi that will take you to the parks from each hotel. We prefer Royal Pacific.
The only ones within walking distance of the parks are the 3 resorts on USO property: Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and Portifino Bay.
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
