I’m pretty sure there is an Econo Lodge close to Disney, Orlando. They have a online coupon special right now for 50% off a regular night stay, but I’m not sure if it would be valid at that location you’d have to find out.
paradise motel off of highway 192, only $20 bux a night haha.
seriously though, don’t be cheap on hotels if you’re with family especially on a vacation to disney. the cheapest hotels have the worst type of people in them. Motels are now being used as meth labs.
don’t even try Motel 6, and that’s still $60 a night.
remember Orlando, outside of Disney is a real ugly place.
my mom worked in a cheap motel here by Disneyland, Cali, and i saw the worst people staying there
If you’re planning to go to Disney World I would suggest Disney’s Pop Century Resort. It is only about $82 per night and they give your transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort and to your hotel from Orlando International Airport free.
I would highly recommend saving money and being able to stay at a deluxe resort…not only are they beautiful.!!.but you get flash passes.. that you can use to get in the front of the line for the rides at disney world. WELL WORTH the extra money in itself.
We just returned from our 13th trip from WDW. When my husband, daughter & I go to Disney we feel it’s better to stay on site. They have free transportation to the parks, it’s clean, great hospitality, you can buy a mug in the food courts that you can refill throughout your trip, & it’s fun to be immersed in the whole Disney experience. If you stay off site & have a car, you’ll have to pay for parking. If you take the hotel’s transportation it will take longer to get there. The value hotels like The All Star Sports, All Star Movies, All Star Music, & Pop Century are reasonable. We like the Pop Century the best. They have their own bus (the All Stars share one, so it takes longer). There are big figures around the resort that are great photo opportunities. We save money by taking snacks for the parks, Pop Tarts, & english muffins for breakfast, & microwave popcorn (for parks or evening) & cookies for the evenings (with hot chocolate in refillable mugs) at the hotel. The food courts have toasters & microwaves. Remember the sunscreen & light rain jackets. Have fun!
you should check out royale parc suites .. you can get full one or two bedroom suites.. with kitchen / dining & living room all for under $100 a night.. depending on what days you stay, and discounts you get.. (ex: fl resident discount, AAA discount, early booking discount, ect.) … also check out expedia.com and look up what you’re looking for.. it will show you lots of hotels.. then in a separate browser i research the hotel… (usually booking straight with the hotel website because i find better deals for what i am looking for) … happy traveling!
If you want serious answers and not just paranoia, I suggest staying near downtown disney — there are plenty of inexpensive decent options that are safe! Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista… Comfort Suites also – these are two hotels on Palm Parkway – actually there are others but these two are pretty affordable, maybe 60 a night – and they are good hotels… the HI has a great pool with waterfall and the comfort inn has a tinier pool, but 24 hour security and its a guarded gated hotel… I have stayed at both and have never had one issue at all… they are 1 mile from downtown Disney, literally, down the street, make a left, then at next light make a right and poof you are in downtown Disney…
Other cheap options, the sun regal resort actually IN downtown Disney — usually about 80 bucks a night…
Just be sure you get room tax and any resort fees upfront..
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

If you’re interested, just go to the Econo Lodge website and look for online coupon special and it will lead you through a series of steps or just go to the direct link http://www.freehotelcoupons.info/econo-lodge-hotel-coupon
I hope that helps

I recommend using priceline with a bidding strategy to maxmize your rebid attempts. You can get really nice 4 or 5 star hotels at sometimes 1/2 off.
