Need Recommendations on Orlando, Florida (or Kissimmee) Hotels?
We are taking our family on vacation to Disney World and need hotel recommendations. We have a fairly large family – 2 adults and 6 children that will be going. I don’t really want a Villa or Condo, but a Family Suite would be perfect! Most of the websites (for hotels) don’t display the family suites (I guess it’s a secret). Anyone know of hotels with family suites that are clean, in good (not perfect) shape, will accomodate a family of 8, have a value – moderate price and are VERY kid friendly?
I’ve checked all the Disney World hotels and we would have to get 2 rooms unless we pay an amount way above our budget.
Any recommendations on hotels that you know of or have been to with the family suite would be very much appreciated.
Since we are traveIing from a pretty far distance and we aren’t familiar with the area, I would also appreciate any recommendtions on the "Must Stay Away from this One" Hotels.
I have checked the Comfort Inn and the most that they can accomodate is 6 people per family suite
Great suggestion though!
About the villa….didn’t really want a villa because they are all so expensive, 0.00 for a week sounds like alot to me because I could get 2 hotel rooms for less than that. I appreciate the offer though.

When we go to Orlando my family and I always stay at the Comfort Inn Suites on 5617 Major Blvd. It’s a family of 6 and we slept very comfortably in one of the suites. Very nice hotel and very basic they also serve a continental breakfast in the morning and you get free shuttle transportation to and from the parks, Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, all of the parks. It’s located closest to Universal like right across the street. Hotel is very clean, customer service is great. We have very small children so the suites have two double size beds and a fold out couch and it suited us well. If you are looking for luxuries then this hotel isn’t for you as we were out mostly during the day so it didn’t matter to us. But it was clean and spacious and very inexpensive. Look on the internet for prices if you want discounts, hotel.com, expedia, hotelstayanywhere, and there’s others just google discount hotels in Orlando. The Comfort Inn Suites was very conveniently located near alot of resturants, and sights, and especially the parks. Also is very kid friendly, even has a pool, gym, and arcade room.
you would be better off renting a villa can rent you 4bedroom with pool 950 a week only 10mins from Disney. it is on par 60 golf course tennis courts 400 acre lake. for rent information e-mail dwbhjb@gmail.com
Take a look at the Lake Suites in Kissimmee. They have family suites for about $69 a night and they offer a complimentary shuttle to the parks which leaves every 30 minutes. They are great. http://lakesuiteshotel.net/
Also, Disney does have one resort which offers condo style rooms for larger parties. You can book a cabin through Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. To learn more, visit http://www.disneyworld.com
Good luck!
