WE ARE GOING TO ORLANDO FLORIDA next week and I was wondering…?

Does anyone know about ticket booths outside of hotels that sell discounted Disney tickets? We heard from someone that they went there and did not realize this until the last day and it was 2 late.. Can anyone tell me if they know about this and how much ??? Also, any tips on the best places to go and awesome place to eat?

Thank so much ;o)

You have to be careful with buying Disney tickets. I do know that http://www.orlandofuntickets.com sells discount tickets on line and also has a store about a mile from downtown Disney. They are also a member of the BB.

How much a ticket cost depends on how many days you stay and what features you want. So check out their website.

As far as where to eat, on Disney property there are a few nice economical choices, such as the ESPN Club at the BoardWalk Resort is within walking distance of the World Showcase at EPCOT and is very affordable, and a lot of fun, but again a lot of this depends on what kind of experiences you are looking for and how much you want to spend.

As far as what to do? If this is your first time, lay back relax and just explore! Discover this world for yourself, enjoy finding and discovering attractions all on your own, because in the end there is no way you can do it all… so no matter what you are going to want to come back.

    I hope this helped!

Buy your tickets at Walt disney World, there are a lot of scammers around that will sell you bad tickets.

As another poster stated her parents bought tickets from the booths, multi day hoppers with days left over. now when you enter a Disney theme park they scan your fingerprints and keep a biometric record that is attached to the ticket, if you buy one of these parcially used tickets your prints will not match. that means you have a ticket you cannot use and will have to buy another ticket at the park, that also means you were scammed by the seller of the original ticket.

I know nothing about ticket booths. Meals will be on availability as many people prearrange meals 180 days before their trip. There are many I would recommend if I knew more about the age and interest of the travelers.

My parents used to buy our tickets all the time at those booths when I was younger. We never got ripped off. They were usually 5 day hoppers that were used for 2 or 3 days. My husband and I are going in November and we purchased our tickets through Disney and they were quite reasonable with a hotel package.

Some of the booths sign you up for timeshare presentations where you can get 2 free tickets.
    Others sell discounted tickets.
Only problem I have had is they didn’t have the type of ticket I needed once.

Being a swashbuckling archaeologist, I travel a lot.

Below is the best site for travel planning, and has great prices!

  6. I wouldn’t buy tickets anywhere but at Disney. There are a lot of scammers out there, and there are lots of stories about people pulling stunts like the other posters described.

As far as eating, there are lots of fabulous restaurants both inside Disney and outside. You didn’t say if you had kids or not, or your age (which would determine the type of place you’d likely want to go). But, I can tell you that on International Drive there are two restaurants that I tried recently and found them to be fantastic. First of all, there is a Maggiano’s (italian, obviously) on International Drive. Not sure of the address, but it is about the 8800 block. Nearby there is a great pizza place called Uno’s (took the place of Pizzeria Uno out of Chicago). Either of these are very good.

If you want something more pricey, there is a Charley’s steak house in Orlando, but I’m not sure of the address. I’ve eaten there, but was a passenger that trip, so I don’t remember the street address. Fantastic steaks, but pricey.

The food outlets in Disney are all pretty good, but get ready for crowds and, depending on the time of day, long waiting lines.

    Hope this helps.

RIP OFF. do not buy discounted tickets at these places.

There are plenty of great places to eat, it really depends on what area you will be in and how much you want to spend.
