What are some hotels near Disney?
What are some not too expensive hotels near Disney is Orlando?
The room needs to fit four people
two kids (can sleep in the same bed, depends on size)
two adults (will sleep in the same bed, but needs to be at least a queen.)
Thanks!
Actually, your best bet is not near Disney, but on Disney property.
There are many WDW resorts just right for your group. My family is four people as well, two adults and two children. I have stayed at many of the Disney resorts before, and most are not as expensive as it seems. Plus, once you add in all the benefits, you are getting more than your money’s worth.
It is common for people to mistake Disney for being totally expensive, but the truth is, you can have a great resort, just the right size for your group, and the benefits for basically the same price as off resort property! Now when I say basically, it depends on where you stay. The more affordable resort on Disney Property is Pop Century or the All Stars. I have provided links below. Both are not the most expensive, and are both very nice. I have stayed at both, and enjoyed both as well.
Now to talk about some benefits of staying on WDW property. First of all, free transportation to and from the parks and downtown Disney. There are multiple ways of transportation, but considering the two resorts mentioned above, you have bus from both resorts. They are totally free, and run every 15 minutes or so from the resort to and from all the parks. The buses are a great way to travel across Disney, and you don’t have to worry about Parking. Secondly, you have Extra Magic Hours, or as us Disney Freaks call EMH. EMH is only for Resort Guests, Disney resort guests that is. Meaning that if you stay at the Best Western just off Disney property, then it doesn’t apply. If you do stay at one of the above resorts mentioned, or at another of the now 25 Disney Resorts, they you will have a room key, which is what you use. EMH is extra time in the parks. Each day, in either the morning or evening, one of the parks will stay open for extra time, only for Resort guests. Particular and many of the most popular rides, will be open as well. Its a great way to add to your Disney day. This is one of the most wonderful parts of staying on property! Lastly, if it applies, you don’t have to pay the parking fee each day for the resorts. Normally, there is a $14 parking fee in any of the WDW parking lots (resorts are not included). This is great, especially if you have a rental car. It takes away all of those parking fees, which can add up to a lot.
Overall, really, staying on Disney Property is much better than not staying on Property. I have provided the links to the two resorts I mentioned in the sources. If you have any other questions on planning your Disney vacation, please feel free to contact me. I would love to help! Have a magical day!
Just went in May of this year and we rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo about 10 miles from disney for 400/week I would suggest looking at the website vrbo.com lots of condos to rent there
There are actually a number of cheap hotels on Disney property itself. Disney World, in addition to hosting four parks and various other entertainment, is home to at least a dozen hotels.
The cheapest are the All Star Sports, All Star Movies, All Star Music, and Pop Century hotels. The cheapest rooms are under $100 a night. The exact price varies depending on the season. There are other hotels, and the exact prices for all are on the Walt Disney World website.
Most of the rooms offer two queen size beds, since most people travel in groups to Disney; ask the hotel staff when you reserve a room about beds. Reserve a room at least six months in advance, to ensure you’ll get a room at a good hotel.
When you stay on property, you have access to the hotel pool and other amenities. The hotels are always clean and have great staff. You will also have free access to Disney buses, ferries, and monorail, letting you relax while the staff takes you to the attractions, and you save on gas for the rental car. On-property guests also have late-night hours access at the parks. Park-hopper passes are highly recommended
I promise that staying on site is completely worth it. For any details, visit the Walt Disney World website, and/or talk to a travel agent for the best deals and information. If you have further questions, Yahoo will answer
Have fun!
you have many options. folks have already given many options for staying at Disney. I would recommend Disney All Stars Sports Resort or the Disney All Stars Movie Resort.
but if you are looking for hotels outside Disney but in the vicinity, check out for many more options:
