I am going to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Halloween Horror Nights on October 26th through the 29th. I am staying onsite at the Royal Pacific. I am just wondering what the crowds will be like at that time and should I invest in the Express Pass for Halloween Horror Nights?

YES! Definitely. At least for Islands of Adventure. I was there last month and it was CRAZY! The amount of people there for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was insane. Wait time for a ride was about 5 hours (in the WWoHP isle). Might I suggest something? Go in the single riders lane. Yeah so you can’t sit right next to a friend but you don’t stand in line NEAR as long. Just ask the attendant at the front of all rides where the single rider lane is and they will gladly direct you. The parks should be practically empty during the day. I would ride everything then and not worry about an Express Pass assuming yu also have purchased regular park passes. Just hit the HHN attractions ASAP once the event starts.
