Of all the Disney resorts in Orlando, what is the cheapest?
My friend and I and oue moms are planing a vacation (for 4) to Orlando, Florida to Disney World for October. I was just wondering if anyone knew what was the cheapest Disney resort to stay at. Last time the 4 of us went we stayed at Port Orleans. And we want to stay at a Disney resort again. Any feed back or site links will be helpful. Thaaanks ![]()
The value resorts are the cheapest, there are four of them to choose from. You can check them all out here:

I highly recommend Pop Century. It’s the newest of the value resorts, and it has its own buses for transportation to the parks, while the three All-Star resorts (Movies, Music and Sports) share buses.
the cheapest resorts are known as "value resorts" there are 4 of them and they all cost the same amount
-all star music
-all star sports
-all star movies
-pop century
out of those 4 i would recommend pop century. its the newest and most well kept. and in my opinion has the best theme (pop culture from the 40′s, 50′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, and 90′s)
also pop century has its own bus line where as all the all star resorts share a bus line.
I agree with Ali Dawn & Indiana Jones. We’ve been to WDW 13 times & have stayed at all of the value resorts. Our favorite is the Pop Century also. Our next favorite is the All Star Movies. Have Fun!
Hey!
Again, just like the other ladies, I recommend Pop Century. It’s really something quite fun for the entire family, its very large and interesting to explore. I’ve stayed at the Moderate hotels as well, but honestly I feel I enjoyed my Disney Experience best, at the Value Resorts. I’ve also been to All Star Music and Movies, and they both were great too!
( I agree on the Bussing situation though…sometimes the busses can get busy, however the staff has usually got it covered—they are very fast with sending in empty busses- consider the time of year you are visiting, but it really is no big issue.)
So, I guess it’s ultimately up to you, and what interests your family… you will NOT be disappointed!
