Disney is extremely busy during the summer months. From the middle of June to the middle of August you can expect lots of crowds, long wait times, hot and humid temperatures and a daily shower/thunderstorm.

Despite all of that, the parks are still a lot of fun, and typically are open longer. If that is the only time you can go just make sure you do your research, plan ahead of time, learn what a FastPass is and what Extra Magic Hours are.

Orlando gets exceptionally busy overy the summer holidays (June-August) because that’s when the majority of US schools are out.

American schools start summer vacations in May or June so they are pretty much all out of school in June and July. The parks are all very busy in the summer months.

Yes it is very busy during the summer months. Schools across the US have different school break schedules but for the most part, they are all off in July.

  5. We are going to be out of school and our parents are going to want to do something with us so it’s going to be crowded

my school ends may 22nd. im going disney during july and yes its always crowded every year in the summer.

  7. Most, but not all American schools are out from the end of May to the first of September. So, you are going in the busiest, hottest time of the year.

Sometimes in June/July, you will only get to seven or eight rides due to line waits and the heat.

    Still worth it though.

Tripadvisor.com, a free site, search Orlando and check out the travel forum for more detailed info on all things Disney.

Very busy. I would say try going in May-early June if possible or mid-september to early october, because it’s still very warm.
Feb after presidents day(the 15th I believe) to the beginning of March is also OK.
