Need advice about Orlando Airport Parking?
My sister is flying out of Orlando Airport and she doesn’t know this airport. She’s used to flying out of Tampa where she would park her car at a place and they would shuttle her to the airport.
I’m sure they have this kind of places at MCO. We’ve looked into car rental but it is getting up there on price so now she decided it might be more economical to drive her own car to Orlando and park it at the airport. She will be leaving on a Friday and coming back on a Sat.
Any help would be appreciated.
The cheapest place to park near TPA is at EZ Park and Pets on Narcoossee Rd where the rate is as low as $26 for 7 days of parking (outdoor, self-park). Parking at MCO’s Blue lot for 7 days is $70 in comparison.
There are a few other off-airport facilities, like the Park, Bark, and Fly lot on S. Semoran Blvd mentioned by the others above, that are slightly more expensive ($40-$45 for 7 days of parking) but are also located very close to the airport and are highly recommended by other passengers. Cheapest doesn’t necessarily mean the best, I’d probably go with the crowd on this one.
Anyway, to see a comparison of the ALL Orlando Airport parking rates and locations, check out BestParking.com.
There are many parking places near the Orlando Airport – All have shuttles to the airport. Almost all are open 24 hrs. We use Park Bark and Fly, but there are many, many more, Google this You will find them. BTW It is usually advisable to make a reservation or you might not find space.
Park & Bark gives discounts if you have certain cards like AAA or AARP or Military
I second Bark, park and fly, good place.
I recommend Park Bark & Fly as well. If your sister signs up online (for free) at http://www.parkbarkandfly.com for the "Frequent Barker Card", she’ll get the rate of $5.99 per day all taxes included. My husband and I use them every time we fly, as we like to rack up the points for a free day–but you don’t really need to be a frequent parker to use the card. It’s a great deal.
Also, PB&F will take her right to her departure airline and will pick her up at baggage claim. They give you a card for you to call once you’ve gotten your bags and are generally there within 5 minutes. It’s well lit, has security and is open 24 hours.
