Transportation in orlando florida?
hi another disney question
im going to disney world and we dont have a rental car as i cannot drive and we are having to count on the shuttle busses.
how will i know which shuttles to use as ive heard there is shops and restaurants at international drive and will i be able to go to international drive to eat as im staying at the sports complex?
There are so many sources of public transportation off of international drive. You may stay at a hotel that will provide shuttle service. Disney also provides transportation at no charge. See link below. Worst case you take a cab. No matter what there will be someway to get there.
Are you staying at Disney or on I-drive? Disney doesn’t offer shuttles off property so if you are staying there you will have to take a public bus.
Most of the hotels provide their guests with transportation from the airport to the hotel & parks, you just need to schedule ahead of time with the hotel’s guess services. International Drive is a long strip road full of hotels, restaurants, museums, activities for all, lots of shops and Festival Bay. If you’re staying at a hotel on International Drive you can just walk to the shops – etc. I recommend that you be careful specially at night because there’s been many incidents happening around that road with turists; I’m not trying to scare you but I’m being realistic; always be aware of your surroundings. See what ammenities your hotel offers and take full advantange of their services. Try not to get involved with any "free tickets" as they’re only trying to sell you a timeshare – "tourist trap". Keep in mind to always make sure to have a schedule with you so that you know when the last shuttle buses runs back to the hotel – you don’t want to be stuck at a park around midnight. Your staying at the sports complex? do you by chance mean All-Star Sport hotel? If so you can a Disney Bus to Downtown Disney then a Lynx bus from there to the I-Dr. area. Here is a link to the public bus system with routes, times and fares. http://www.golynx.com
