Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral-Cheapest transportation?
What is the cheapest and most convenient way for two people to get to Port Canaveral for a cruise from Orlando (MCO) airport (roundtrip)?
Ask your cruise ship people. There are a lot of shuttle buses that run there and they should know who they are. You should be able to get a good rate from the cruise co and they take you direct to the port for your ship. This should be less expensive than a car rental. Buses regularly meet the ships coming and going.
I had to do the same thing. I rented a car for a day. The rental place had a shuttle that took me to my cruise ship and told me where to be picked up for the return. I scheduled another rental for my return 5 days later. I did this last August. Shop around for cheap rentals. I told them that I would fill the tank. There was a gas station a block away from the drop off. It also costs a couple of $$’s for tolls. It was pretty fast and easy.
