Thanks
Crowd-wise you’re going at a great time. Crowd levels will be low, wait times should be greatly reduced from peak season. Normal highs are right around 70, with normal lows being right around 50. You should be prepared for cool weather, but also for nicer weather. Pools are heated in Orlando during the winter, so you should still be able to swim if you’d like to.
The Holy Land Experience has a non-smoking policy, but all of the other parks on your list allow smoking at designated areas scattered throughout the parks. Pick up a park map when you get to each park and the smoking areas will be on there. The exception to designated smoking areas is Gatorland, where they allow you to smoke wherever you want, you can walk around and smoke while you look at the exhibits if you want to as long as you put your cigarettes out in one of the many ashtrays along the paths.
As for the tickets, you’re not going to come here and find a better deal, so buy them now. You will be able to get a discount from the Universal Orlando website since you are going to be buying multi-park tickets ($10.00 off gate price), but Disney World does not discount their tickets; you won’t find any legitimate discounts that really save you any money at all, best just to buy straight from Disney.
By the way, you don’t need either the five OR six day Disney World tickets if you are only going to Disney World parks for three days. I’m hoping you realize that Universal Orlando (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) and Disney World (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom) are two totally separate resorts. You will not be able to use the complimentary Disney World transportation to get you to Universal. Since you are also wanting to visit Gatorland and the Holy Land Experience your best and cheapest option would be to just rent a car.
hello there
okay,
january is value season because its the time when crowds are low and prices are too. When you first get to the parks it would be smart to go straight to the popular rides such as: toy story mania, peterpan’s flight, soarin , haunted mansion ect. Even though the crowds will be low its always safe to get their early to see and do everything disney has to offer. Weather during january is typically : a high of 73 degrees and 5.7 cm of rain fall. Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas that will be marked on your park or resort map. The 6 day base ticket sounds best because its inexpensive and once your in the magic you probably wont want to switch parks so the park hopper probably isn’t a good idea. You definitely wont get the same prices when you get there (sadly) have fun i hope this helped!
happy travels
