how much movie to universal orlando resort?
Im planning a trip with my family to go to the Universal orlando for a week, so how much extra money should we bring for dinner and shopping and tipping and stuff
Well, if you eat at Universal ,you’d better figure on $15 to $20 per person for dinner. There are a lot of "buffet" restaurants in Orlando that would be a lot cheaper. Are you staying at Universal? Shopping, tipping and stuff will run you an extra $500 to $1000. It depends on how many are in your family. The first time we went to Disney with 2 children, it cost us $600 for the week, including food and gas to drive down from Wisconsin. Of course that was many years ago…but we would take along a electric fry pan and cook sometimes in our hotel room.
If you stick to the cheapest food and snacks, you are probably still looking at $50 per person, per day. If you are eating fancier, sit-down meals, it could easily cost $100 per person, per day, or even more.
You said dinner – so are you just buying one meal a day? In that case, it’s probably more like $10-$30, depending on what kind of restaurant you are eating at.
For shopping, it’s entirely up to you to set your budget. A T-shirt will run you about $20-$30, so that gives you an idea. If you give everybody $100, then they can likely each buy a nice thing or two plus some small stuff. If you give everybody $500, then they can spend it for sure! You just have to decide what you are comfortable with.
