Daytona has those cars running on the beach: Anticlimactic!
In Cape Canaveral there are a couple of good restaurants on the canal that leads to the Cruise terminals. Nothing special, but definitely OK. Not on a true beach, though!
Cocoa right on the beach? Besides a tiki bar, nothing much. On the pier? The food is not great, although the location is nice.
However, there is a special gourmet restaurant that just opened in the remodeled Radisson Hotel in Indialantic (Melbourne) right on the beach on A1A. Fantastic food! The chef is indeed prepared. If you can make it there, it’s worth it.
they have thousands of listings by location and/or cuisine. it goes one step further than restaurants.com or idine.com as this provides you with the restaurants complete menu!
Just north of RonJon’s, on the beach, there is a little park. And just north of that is a place that serves good food and liquor. Sorry, I wish I could remember the name of it, but when I vacation in Cocoa Beach, that’s the spot!
BTW, by "good", I mean the food is very good. This is casual, not fine dining.
There is a really good on Daytona Beach but I can’t remmeber the name! You walk out on this pier and you’re like 100 feet out…it’s pretty cool bc you can watch surfers and stuff. Joe’s Crab Shack or a name like that..
