Is there public transportation from Walt Disney World to Cocoa Beach, FL and back?
My family and I are going to be staying @ the Coronado Springs resort hotel in Disney world in June for 9 days. However, I wanted to sneak out a day and check out Cocoa Beach to go swimming and check out all the area has to offer as well. I was wondering if there was any public transportation to and from Walt Disney World to Cocoa Beach and back? Any help is great. Thanks!
I’m fairly sure that there’s no public transportation. You can take a shuttle or limo, both options are fairly expensive. It would probably be cheaper if you rented a car for the day.
There are 2 locations of Alamo car rental in Walt Disney World. One is at the "car care center" just outside the TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center). The other is at Walt Disney’s Dolphin Resort. They have a complimentary shuttle that will pick you up from you Disney hotel and take you to the car rental place.
