I've never been to universal studios orlando and have a few questions?

first off on a scale of 1-10 how is this place overall?

secondly I’m planning on going there in the summer and is three days to much? Cause I was looking at the park maps and it didn’t seem to big, like you can do everything in about a day.

finally what is the cheapest way to pay for everything, including flights, hotels, and tickets to the parks?

  1. I rate Universal Studios at an 8 and Universal’s Islands of Adventure a 10. You should plan for AT LEAST one day for each park in the summer months.

  2. I would rate it about an 8. If you really want to get the full effect of the park, I think 3 days would be great. Sometimes, there is more to a place than there seems to be. I had a great time at Universal, but I didn’t have enough time to do it all in 1 day. As for deals, if you go to a local AAA representative, they give you package deals for trips like this. This past summer, I went to Disney for 7 days and I saved $2,000. Also, if you don’t like triple A, I would suggest looking for online packages. Sometimes you can find a free night with some hotels for booking a certain amount of days and such. Hope this helps.

  3. on a scale of 1-10 prolly
    8

    3 days id good acually
yes the park isnt to big but try to stay in one of the parks hotels i recomend the portafino bay hotel
not only is it close to the park but u can use ur hotel key to go thru the express lines at the park
but there as alot of cool places to walk around and look at things to so three days should b fine

    im not sure abt paying

I love universal, I like to go on thrill rides so to me its better than Disney. Overall I give it a 8.

its not a huge park but if you dont get the fast pass (jump to the head of the line) be prepared to wait about an hour for each ride. So no three days is not too much, but depending on how many people are there you could need three days.

Go first thing in the a.m when they open, you can get a few rides in before they get busy.

I usually buy all my stuff right on expedia as a hotel, flight combo. Then I Just get my tickets at Universal on line

  5. I agree it is an 8/10. I am not a roller coaster type so a day and a half for both parks would be pleanty for me.

    Over all 8/10
Three days is a good amount of time. Although if your going in the summer the lines can be up to an hour and a half long, so you would only be able to do a few rides in one day.

There are two parks in Universal. So if your planning on doing both parks you’ll need a park hopper. There is the original Universal Studios which has the older rides like E.T, Jaws, Men In Black, and The Terminator. They also recently added The Simpson’s Ride and Rip Ride Rocket. This park is usually not too busy, but the wait for the newer rides are long.

Then there is Islands of Adventure which has a lot of roller coaster rides. IOA has The Hulk, Jurassic Park, The Marvel rides, Dr. Seuss etc. That park is super packed in the summer, but the rides are definitely worth it. You will probably need two days to do all of the rides you want in IOA.

You would most likely save a lot by getting package deals through someone like Orbitz, Expedia and so on, but you might also want to talk to a travel agent and compare prices. Good luck!

our family would give it an 11. in our opinion better than disney it appeals to all ages whereas some of the disney parks are aimed at younger children. 3 days is plenty you can get round both parks in a day actually if its quiet but if you’re going in the summer the queues will be long and you will need a day in each park. try totalflorida.com for good deals for flights etc.
