Where is the best place to move around Orlando?



Currently I am a Michigan resident and I am ready to jump ship. The way I see it is if I am going to be unemployed I might as well do it some where warm. I am looking for suburbs around the Orlando area that are not super far from every thing(within driving distance to common job areas) and have decent schools. Currently I live in a upscale Detroit suburb and the cost of living is about the same.

    Altamonte Springs
    Maitland
    Clermont (where I live)
    Ocoee
    Leesburg
    Lake Mary (fancy)
    Apopka
    Oviedo
    Windermere (very fancy)
    Nicest areas seem a little NE of Orlando
    Not Pine Hills or Polk County!!!

    I’m looking to move away from the Orlando area due to unemployment and crime issues, but hey, it can’t be worse than Detroit. I’m betting that it’s a good deal more expensive here comparably though.
    I agree with the things that Mandy says, but I’d replace the words "fancy" with "overpriced"
